Does the process hurt?

Getting eyelashes extensions, lvl or brow treatments are completely pain free. With eyelash extensions and lvl, you will be lying down for 1-3 hours (depending on treatment) with your eyes closed. Most clients fall asleep or use the time to listen to their favourite music or podcast. We are happy to chat to you if that’s what you prefer, but remember talking can slow down the process if you tend to use a lot of body language or are extremely expressive.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Please arrive with clean lashes and preferably a clean makeup free face. Any trace of mascara or eyeshadow will have to be cleaned off which eats into your appointment time. Oil free makeup remover is best to avoid any traces. Please arrive right on time, as we may be with clients should you come extra early.

Do I need a patch test?

If you have never any any lash or brow treatment before, it is best to have a patch test at Least 48 hours prior to your appointment. Please let me know and request this. Patch tests can be preformed every 6 months or after any hormonal changes such as pregnancy or contraception.

How do I pay?

Deposits are paid when you book an appointment via this website. The remaining balance is then paid at the end of your appointment. All forms of payments including cash,  back transfer or card payment will be accepted. Bank transfer must be done before leaving Labardi Lashes studios. 

What's the aftercare like?

After any lash or brow treatment, no water is allowed to touch the treatment area for 48 hours. Any use of water within the first 48hours, whether it be rain or a shower can be detrimental to the retention of the treatment. Please plan your appointment day so you can avoid any extreme moisture that might ruin your new treatment. For example, avoid going to a gym or a sweaty nightclub on the day of your treatment. You will be provided with a spoolie free of charge after your appointment to help brush through your lashes or brows post treatment. Eyelash extensions require regular washes to avoid bacteria buildup which could lead to infections. Lash cleansers are available to buy at an extra £10.

Can I wear eyeshadow with eyelash extensions?

Yes you can! You just have to get good at cleaning them after. Oil free makeup is best to initially clean them, but also using a lash wash to rinse any makeup particles that may be stuck in between the extensions.

How long do they last?

Eyelash extensions can last up to 6 weeks depending how good your are at looking after them. Lashes will look the fullest within the first 2-3 weeks and slowly start to naturally shed. To maintain the look, it is recommended to have infills around the 2-3week mark. Lvl and brow lamination can last as long at 8 weeks!

What's the aftercare for brow lamination

Brow lamination is LOW maintenance not NO maintenance. Daily routine should involve applying an oil every night . When washing your face in the morning, wash in a upward motion and you can condition with your usual hair conditioner. Most importantly ‘Set when Wet’, so brush straight from the shower and allow to dry naturally for the best results. As with any lash or brow treatment always use a oil free makeup remover.
